Medical Billing Executive

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies and other payers.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage.
- Review patient records, diagnosis codes (ICD-10), procedure codes (CPT/HCPCS), and billing information for accuracy.
- Follow up on unpaid, pending, or denied claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Investigate and resolve claim denials, rejections, and payment discrepancies.
- Post insurance and patient payments accurately into the billing system.
- Generate patient invoices and respond to billing-related inquiries.
- Maintain accounts receivable (AR) and ensure timely collections.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients regarding billing issues.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer guidelines, and company policies.
- Prepare billing reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and quality targets.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration,



Healthcare Management, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Certification in Medical Billing and Coding is an added advantage.
- 2–4 years of experience for entry-level positions; relevant experience preferred for senior roles.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of medical billing processes and revenue cycle management (RCM).
- Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Understanding of insurance claims processing and payer guidelines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) and medical billing software is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
