Roles & Responsibility

The Role:The AWS Data Lead is responsible for designing, building, and managing the dataarchitecture on AWS (Amazon Web Services). This role involves leading a team of dataengineers, architects, and analysts to implement cloud-based data solutions that meetbusiness needs. The AWS Data Lead plays a critical role in overseeing the development,deployment, and optimization of data pipelines, data lakes, and other cloud-based datainfrastructure on AWS.Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures onAWS Oversee the design, development, and governance of a data lake and warehouseincluding data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines using AWSservices such as DMS, Redshift, S3, Glue & Parquet Establish a data governance strategy to ensure data reliability, data integrity andprovenance of all data Lead and mentor data engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering acollaborative work environment. Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations, implementing bestpractices for encryption,



access controls, and auditing within the AWS environment. Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailoreddata solutions. Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of AWSdata solutions. Continuously improve the efficiency of data operations. Keep up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies, services, and best practices tocontinuously improve the organization's data infrastructure.

Requirements

Requirements: 5-10 years of experience in data engineering or data architecture, with at least 3-5years working with AWS data services. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or arelated field. Expertise in AWS services like DMS, Redshift, S3, Glue & Parquet Proficiency in designing data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL processes usingAWS technologies. Robust knowledge of programming and scripting languages (Python, SQL, Java). Knowledge of and development of practical AI applications leveraging ML and /or LLMs Oracle experience is an added advantage
