Job Summary

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team in preparing meals and maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment. The ideal candidate should be able to work efficiently in a quick-paced kitchen and assist with food preparation, cleaning, and stocking.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist chefs with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Clean and sanitise kitchen workstations, floors, and storage areas.
- Receive, organize, and store food supplies and ingredients.
- Ensure proper food handling and hygiene standards are maintained.
- Dispose of kitchen waste safely and keep the kitchen tidy.
- Refill kitchen supplies and notify supervisors when stock is low.
- Assist with serving meals when required.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.




- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in restaurants, hotels, hostels, hospitals, industrial kitchens, or cafeterias.
- Food Handler Certificate (preferred but not mandatory).
- Salary:

₹8,000–₹12,000 per month (depending on experience)
