Job Summary

The Project Engineer – Interior is responsible for planning, executing, and supervising interior fit-out projects while ensuring quality, timely completion, safety, and adherence to project specifications. The role requires coordination with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects within the approved budget and timeline.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and execute interior fit-out works at project sites.
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project documents before execution.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and clients.
- Prepare project schedules and monitor progress against timelines.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout project execution.
- Monitor daily site activities and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Verify measurements and certify contractor bills and vendor invoices.
- Coordinate procurement and timely delivery of materials to the site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks during all stages of execution.
- Resolve technical and site-related issues efficiently.
- Attend project meetings and provide regular updates to management.
- Coordinate with MEP, civil, and finishing teams for seamless project execution.
- Ensure timely project handover along with snag list closure.
- Maintain project documentation, drawings,



work permits, and records.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out, Commercial, Retail, Hospitality, Residential, or Office Projects.
- Experience in turnkey interior projects will be preferred.

Technical Skills

- Knowledge of interior fit-out execution and finishing works.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, and MEP drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of MS Project and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Knowledge of construction materials and interior finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety standards.
