Job Summary:

- Responsible for complete procurement cycle of safety equipment and industrial materials.
- Ensure cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery, and quality compliance.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and support smooth supply chain operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors and suppliers.
- Request quotations (RFQ) and analyze price comparisons.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Prepare and release purchase orders (PO) as per requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid stock shortages.
- Track orders and follow up with vendors for on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with internal departments (sales, warehouse, accounts).
- Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases accordingly.
- Verify quality and specifications of received materials.
- Handle returns, replacements, and vendor disputes if any.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and contracts.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS and procurement reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
- Stay updated with market trends, pricing, and new products.

- Cost savings and price optimization
- On-time delivery rate
- Vendor performance and reliability




- Inventory control (stock availability vs excess)
- Accuracy of procurement documentation

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
- 2–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing role.

Skills & Competencies:

- Solid negotiation and vendor management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP systems
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Time management and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Requirements:

- Experience in safety equipment, PPE, or industrial product procurement.
- Familiarity with local and national vendor markets.

Working Conditions:

- Office-based role with regular coordination with vendors.
- Occasional vendor visits if required.

Salary & Benefits:

- Salary Range 25000 -35000
