Quality Control (QC) Executive – Frozen Food Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control (QC) Executive to ensure that all products meet the company's quality, food safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, monitoring production processes, conducting finished product inspections, maintaining quality records, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and food safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect and verify the quality of all incoming raw materials before they are approved for production.
- Monitor product quality at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct final inspection of finished products before packing and dispatch.
- Check product parameters such as weight, size, appearance, texture, taste, and overall quality.
- Verify packaging integrity, coding, labeling, and batch details before product release.
- Record and monitor temperatures of production areas, cold rooms, blast freezers, and storage facilities.
- Collect and retain product samples as per quality and food safety procedures.
- Ensure strict compliance with personal hygiene, GMP, PPE, and food safety practices by all production staff.
- Monitor cleaning and sanitation activities across the production and storage areas.
- Identify, report, and document any quality deviations or non-conforming products, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate QC inspection reports, quality records,



and documentation.
- Coordinate with the Production and QA teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Approve products for dispatch only after successful quality inspection and compliance with company standards.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Dairy Technology, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in Quality Control within the food or frozen food manufacturing industry. Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.
- Knowledge of GMP, GHP, HACCP, FSSAI requirements, and food safety standards.
- Good observation, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and record-keeping.
- Ability to work in a production environment and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Significant Note: This position is focused on in-process and finished product quality control within a frozen food manufacturing facility. It does not involve laboratory-based food analysis, microbiological testing, chemical analysis, or R&D; activities. Candidates seeking roles in food testing laboratories or analytical testing are advised that this position is not suitable for those responsibilities.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
