JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Senior Manager - Design

Location :Chennai

Main Responsibilities / Job Summary

(Primary deliverable of role and its scope)

- Sound technical knowledge, and exposure to all related codes is desired.
- Ability to solve problems for complex structures and provide efficient conceptualization.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, structural stability, soundness, design safety, conformance with relevant design codes such as IS code, AISC/MBMA for optimum tonnage.
- Developing of Design sketches & calculations done by designers Including connection design calculations.

*Preparing of Estimation & quantities.

- Quality Checking of proposal / GA / Approval Fabrication drawings.
- Participation & Contributing in technical meeting with the clients & Architects.




- Clarifying all technical queries of the drawings and update company standards for detailing / Fabrication & Execution.

Main Purpose of Job

- Ensure compliance with customer requirements,
- To assure ownership and be accountable for the entire design process using technical expertise and software.
- To produce designs that could reduce financial risk during construction & Execution of the plans.

Knowledge (Technical / Functional)

- Familiar with Auto cad / Staad Pro / MBMA / AISC and other relevant design softwares
- Knowledge in current Industrial Practice.

Skills:

- Problem Solving skills
- Ability to respond to and resolve various queries on Designs and its related issues in a proactive manner.
- Valuable communication skills
- Qualifications: BE (Civil) / (Mech), ME (Structural)
- Experience: 7 - 10 years of hands on experience in Design of PEB & Conventional Structures
- Age: 35 – 45 years
