Job Purpose (Significance of the role & Objectives)

Design, detailing and developing of welding and assembly fixture of full vehicle BIW & EMS Battery Production.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

- Design, detailing and developing of welding and assembly fixture for EMS Battery production and BIW.
- 2D and 3D designing for EMS Battery and BIW fixtures.
- BOM creation and self-quality checking.
- Responsible for detailed engineering design of complex parts in the project.
- Battery and BIW fixture assembly sequencing.
- Performs basic engineering calculations to verify design integrity.

Desired Qualifications: Required Qualification, Knowledge, and Experience

- Software skills: - solid-works/ UG NX, Auto-Cad.
- Proficient knowledge on GD & T , stack up analysis .
- Good knowledge of material selection, manufacturing processes and its limitations.
- Ability to identify, estimate and mark the dimensions prior to designing.
- Exposure to Welding Lines Process & Layout (Spot Welding, ARC welding).
- Experience in method planning,



series tool design and manufacturing concepts of battery and BIW Parts.
- Knowledge of Selection of Materials, Awareness of Various Global and IS Standards for Material and Testing.
- Willing to learn any current technologies required for the role.
- B.E. / B-Tech / in Mechanical.
