Network Engineer - 6+ years experience

Location: SNP Cloud Technologies, 12th Floor, Western Aqua, Cross Street 1, Whitefields, HITEC City, Hyderabad, Kondapur, Telangana 500081.

Job Details: Full-time, Regular, Work from Office.

Reports into: Practice Manager – Cyber Security Network Engineer.

Responsibilities

- Network Firewall Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise in layer 7 network firewalls, defining strategies, configurations, and policies to safeguard against advanced threats and attacks.
- Architecture Design – Develop a comprehensive systems-level understanding of the infrastructure, applications, and cloud services.
- Design and implement robust network architectures that incorporate layer 7 network firewalls and related capabilities.
- Validate project requirements, define project scope, develop project schedules and produce detailed designs for assigned projects.
- Produce work breakdown structures that demonstrate understanding of proposed changes and how the change will be implemented with minimal service impact.
- Performs analysis and diagnosis of highly sophisticated networking problems.
- Prepare and maintain up to date documentation detailing configuration of deployed solutions.



Generates network configurations and run books.
- Plan and drives highly complex network upgrade and migration activity including highly automated environments.

Requirements

- 6+ years of experience in network engineering support workplace
- Experience and expertise in network operations and service optimization in highly available, network infrastructure solutions in a multi-vendor large-scale, multi-site, international environment. Some design experience is also a requirement.
- WAN circuits and protocols (SR-TE, MPLS, DWDM, DMVPN)
- Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, eBGP/BGP, PIM Multicast)
- Diverse skills in client and network devices such as Cisco, Palo Alt, Fortigate etc.
- Virtualization & Overlay technologies, both networking (VxLAN, BGP-MP, VRFs)
- High level internetworking problem solving in an enterprise and web scale network environments.
- Palo Alto Certified Preferred
