Brief Job Description:

· Operates and maintains Mig welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to drawings and specifications.

· Performs welding tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality welds that meet required standards.

· Inspects completed welds for defects, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to quality control procedures.

· Maintains a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.

· May be required to perform other related tasks such as cutting, grinding, and fitting metal parts.

Job Summary:

· Seeking a skilled and reliable Mig Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Mig welding techniques, safety protocols, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. This role is critical for the efficient and high-quality production of our metal products. The Mig Welder will be responsible for creating strong, precise welds on various metal types and ensuring all work meets quality standards

Job Responsibilities:

 Welding and Fabrication:

- Set up and operate Mig welding machines, adjusting settings based on material thickness and weld specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble metal components according to drawings, and work orders.
- Ensure welds meet quality standards for strength, appearance, and dimensional accuracy.





 Quality Control and Inspection:

- Inspect welds for defects such as porosity, cracks, and incomplete fusion.
- Perform basic quality checks using measuring tools and visual inspection.
- Report any defects or deviations from specifications to the supervisor.

 Equipment Maintenance and Safety:

- Maintain welding equipment in positive working order, performing basic maintenance tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

 Other Duties (as applicable):

- May perform cutting, grinding, and fitting of metal parts as needed.
- Assist other team members as required.

Qualification

ITI or Equivalent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Education:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (Preferred)

Experience:

- MIG welding: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

- Malayalam, Tamil, English & Hindi (Preferred)

License/Certification:

- ITI certificate (Preferred)
