Job Summary

BuildX Interior Products Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage project cost estimation, quantity take-offs, billing, and commercial activities for interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of BOQ preparation, and experience in coordinating with project teams to ensure cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities Measurement & Valuation

- Measure executed work quantities at project sites.
- Prepare and verify Running Account (RA) Bills and Final Bills.
- Verify contractor and subcontractor bills and invoices.
- Certify work progress for client and vendor payments.
- Maintain accurate quantity records and documentation.

Cost Estimation & Budgeting

- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and interior drawings.
- Develop project cost estimates and budgets.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Analyze material, labour, and subcontractor costs.
- Monitor project costs and recommend cost-saving measures.

Project Coordination

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Consultants, Procurement, and Site Engineers.
- Attend project meetings and provide commercial updates.
- Support project planning, execution, and commercial documentation.
- Track project progress against budgets and timelines.

Billing & Commercial Management

- Prepare client billing and subcontractor payment certifications.
- Ensure timely processing of bills and payment documentation.
- Manage variations, claims,



and cost revisions.
- Maintain commercial records and reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in Interior Fit-Out projects.
- Robust knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation.
- Experience in contractor billing, client billing, and invoice verification.
- Good understanding of contracts and commercial documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Accuracy of BOQs and quantity take-offs.
- Timely submission of client and contractor bills.
- Budget adherence and cost control.
- Reduction in project cost overruns.
- Timely certification of bills and project documentation.
- Effective management of variation orders and claims.
- Accuracy of commercial reports and project estimates.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience in Interior Fit-Out/Commercial Interior Projects.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
