Position : GRINDING MACHINE OPERATOR

Job Responsibilities:

- Read and analyze technical drawings, GD&T; specifications, and work orders to determine part requirements.
- Select appropriate grinding wheels, dress them for specific finishes, and install work-holding devices like centers or chucks.
- ​Run manual, semi-automatic, or CNC cylindrical grinders to remove material from cylindrical or tapered workpieces.
- Observe machine performance, vibration, and coolant flow to ensure efficiency and prevent thermal damage to parts.
- Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial indicators, air gauges) to verify that parts meet strict tolerance requirements.
- Fine-tune feed rates, speeds,



and machine settings during operation to maintain dimensional accuracy.
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting to keep the machine in optimal working condition.
- Dress and true grinding wheels regularly to maintain cutting profile and prevent loading.

Requirements:

- ​Proven experience as a GRINDING MACHINE OPERATOR
