We're looking for an experienced Senior Barista who is passionate about specialty coffee, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of the coffee program, enjoys mentoring others, and thrives in a fast-paced café environment.

Key Responsibilities

Coffee Excellence

- Prepare and serve exceptional espresso-based beverages, filter coffee, tea, and seasonal drinks while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Monitor coffee bean quality, grinder calibration, espresso extraction, brew ratios, and milk texturing to ensure every beverage meets our standards.
- Maintain a deep understanding of coffee origins, processing methods, roasting profiles, and brewing techniques, and confidently share this knowledge with guests.
- Experiment with new beverages and contribute to seasonal menu development.

Food & Café Operations

- Prepare, plate, and serve café food including sandwiches, toasts, pastries, salads, desserts, and other light meals according to recipe and presentation standards.
- Ensure food quality, portion control, and food safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth coordination between food and beverage service.

Team Leadership

- Lead by example during service and maintain a calm, positive, and professional work environment.
- Train and mentor junior baristas on coffee preparation, customer service, workflow, hygiene, and equipment handling.
- Design and maintain efficient opening and closing procedures and ensure daily operational checklists are completed.
- Help create an ergonomic and productive bar layout to maximize workflow and guest experience.

Customer Experience

- Deliver warm,



knowledgeable, and personalized service to every guest.
- Recommend coffee and food pairings based on guest preferences.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Build relationships with regular customers and help create a welcoming community around the café.

Equipment & Inventory

- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, scales, POS systems, and other café equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, calibrated, and maintained in excellent working condition.
- Monitor inventory levels for coffee beans, milk, food ingredients, and café supplies, and coordinate timely restocking.
- Maintain accurate daily inventory and wastage records.

Hygiene & Standards

- Maintain exceptional cleanliness across the coffee bar, food preparation areas, dining space, and storage areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Support continuous improvement of café operations and service quality.

Requirements

- 3+ years of barista experience, with at least 1 year in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, grinder calibration, milk texturing, latte art, manual brewing methods, and specialty coffee.
- Experience handling light food preparation in a café environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Passion for hospitality, continuous learning, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
