Job Description:

- Study product drawings & propose manufacturing process sequence along with product lead
- Participate in DFM with R&D; and provide inputs to maintain/ improve manufacturing standards
- Prepare PFD, PFMEA and sign off with CFT
- Execute activities as per NPD development schedule defined by Product Lead and Cluster ME Head
- Prepare machine specifications as per model line and sign off with CFT
- Prepare test bench specifications along with R&D; & Maintenance before sharing with suppliers
- Define Civil and MEP requirements for NPD projects.
- Arrange quotations for NPD execution and review with Product Lead/ Cluster Head for Technical Recommendation
- Conduct concept review with suppliers and facilitate DAP sign-off with CFT
- Provide PRs for external machine procurement. Provide PRs and coordinate sourcing for hardware as per BOM shared by Digitalization and Machine Building Team for NPD and capacity ramp up projects.
- Arrange for product samples to be sent to suppliers to support machine development
- Conduct mid-term inspection at supplier-end to monitor development progress.



Escalate to NPD Leads in case of any deviation in timeline
- Participate in FAT at supplier end and sign off with CFT
- Installation of machines on shop floor along with Maintenance
- Prepare DVP samples along with production team
- Conduct Process validation and prepare Cp / Cpk report for Critical processes
- Prepare Control plan/ IPOs & release to Production
- Prepare for internal RAR and customer PPAP audits before launch
- Provide training to Production and Maintenance teams for recent machines
- Prepare Productivity Norms study & handover documents to production

Capacity Planning:

- Arrange for quotations from suppliers and execute machine development as per capacity ramp-up plan
- Installation and handover of capacity ramp-up machines Process Improvement/Standardization:
- Generate Kaizens/ PCRNs from NPD learnings and feedback to Product Leads/ COC
- Provide feedback on machine performance to COC and Product leads to improve machine design standards
