Job Summary

The Kitchen Stewarding Staff is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation of the kitchen, dishwashing area, equipment, and utensils. The role ensures that all kitchen operations comply with food safety and hygiene standards while supporting chefs and kitchen staff with a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dishwashing area, and storage rooms.
- Sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen floors regularly.
- Dispose of garbage and food waste according to company procedures.
- Clean kitchen equipment, exhaust hoods, refrigerators, and workstations.
- Refill cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper segregation and disposal of waste.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies when required.




- Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy operations.
- Report any damaged equipment or maintenance issues immediately.
- Follow all health, safety, and company policies.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Stewarding Supervisor or Executive Chef.

Requirements

- Minimum qualification: 10th Pass (preferred).
- Previous experience in hotel, restaurant, resort, casino, or catering is an advantage.
- Freshers with a willingness to learn may also apply.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and cleaning procedures.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Valuable teamwork and communication skills.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
