Sr. Construction Engineer – Mechanical

Reports to:

Construction Manager

Requirements:

Education:

B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical).

Experience:

You must have minimum of 5 years’ experience in storage tank and piping execution in any contracting company.

Technical:

- Knowledge of technical standards like API / ASME / IS.
- Planning, Scheduling and Overseeing the construction operations related to all kinds of tank and piping job with fittings and equipment.
- Level – II certification (NDT) is an added qualification.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet rigorous deadlines.
- Problem Solving and Logical thinking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Presentation Skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Guiding junior engineer in construction activity on planning and execution.
- Managing Materials at site.
- Managing subcontractors and organising workmen.
- Working with owner to ensure the project meets the requirement.
- Solving site problems.
- Ensure work progress as per delivery schedule.

- Must understand EPC jobs related to all kind of Piping job.
- Must be willing to Travel and relocate on an as-needed basis.
- Ability to assess site situations, plan for future activities, diffuse problems and work towards scheduled completion.
- To be proactive and a go getter.
- Protecting organizations value by keeping information confidential.
- Ensuring safety and achieving accident free.
- Documentation, liaising with local vendors and other agencies.
