Hiring for Quantity Surveyor
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and quantity take-offs from drawings
- Estimate project costs including materials, labor, and equipment
- Monitor and control project budgets and cash flow
- Prepare and evaluate tender documents & contractor quotations
- Track project progress and conduct cost analysis & reporting
- Manage subcontractor billing, certification, and payments
- Handle variations, claims, and final account settlements
- Coordinate with site engineers, architects, and procurement teams
- Ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality and timelines
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and risks in projects
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation & budgeting
- Expertise in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs
- Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Negotiation and contract management skills
- Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Qualifications
- B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil
- Certification in Quantity Surveying (preferred)
- 5–8 years experience in real estate / construction projects
