Key Responsibilities

Automation & Development

- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation frameworks and utilities.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.

- Build reusable libraries and tools to improve engineering productivity.

AWS & Cloud Engineering

- Develop automation solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, and DynamoDB.

- Implement serverless workflows using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge.

- Optimize AWS usage for performance, security, and cost.

CI/CD & DevOps

- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).

- Support infrastructure automation using Terraform / CloudFormation.

- Implement automated testing, deployment, rollback, and monitoring strategies.

Monitoring & Reliability

- Automate monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows.

- Enhance system reliability through proactive automation and self-healing mechanisms.

Collaboration & Documentation

- Work closely with DevOps, SRE, QA, and application teams.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.

- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and sprint planning.





Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

- Strong proficiency in Python (scripting, OOP, REST APIs).

- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in automation and backend development.

- Solid experience with AWS cloud services.

- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.

- Hands-on with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines.

- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).

- Experience with Git and version control best practices.

- Familiarity with Docker and container-based deployments.

Good to Have

- Experience with Kubernetes / EKS.

- Exposure to Ansible or other configuration management tools.

- Knowledge of security best practices in AWS (IAM, VPC, encryption).

- Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).

- Exposure to AI-driven or agent-based automation.

Soft Skills

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
