Hiring Production Engineer – Machining Workshop in Saswad, Pune

Responsible for production planning and execution, process development, tooling and fixture development, productivity improvement, quality enhancement, and continuous improvement activities to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise CNC turning, VMC, HMC, milling, drilling and related machining operations.
- Develop machining processes for new and existing components.
- Select suitable machining methods, cutting tools, and process parameters.
- Design and develop jigs, fixtures, gauges, and tooling concepts.
- Optimize tool life and cutting conditions.
- Reduce cycle times while maintain quality standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues.
- Work with production, quality, maintenance, purchase, and customers.
- Coordinate with suppliers for tooling, fixtures, and machining solutions.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Monitor machine utilization, manpower efficiency, and production output.
- Coordinate with stores, quality, maintenance, and dispatch teams.
- Implement Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S initiatives.
- Reduce rejection and rework rates.
- Track KPIs and present improvement plans.

Required Software Skills





- Excel.
- CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- CAM Software such as MasterCAM or DellCAM or SolidCAM.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech Mechanical Engineering.
- 4–15 years of experience in CNC machining.
- Hands-on exposure to both production and process development.
- Experience managing operators and improving manufacturing performance.
- Strong practical approach and willingness to spend time on the shop floor.
