Job Summary:

The Junior Resident Doctor is responsible for providing round-the-clock medical care to patients, assisting senior doctors/consultants, and ensuring smooth functioning of clinical services in wards, ICU, and emergency units. The role includes patient assessment, treatment, documentation, and coordination with medical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care

- Examine and assess patients on admission and during rounds
- Take detailed medical history and perform clinical examinations
- Monitor patient progress and vital parameters regularly
- Provide immediate care in emergency situations

2. ICU Responsibilities

- Monitor critically ill patients in ICU
- Assist in ventilator management and life-support systems
- Perform basic and advanced procedures (as per training)
- Coordinate with intensivists and consultants

3. Obstetrics & Pediatrics Support

- Assist in normal and emergency deliveries
- Monitor antenatal and postnatal patients
- Provide neonatal and pediatric care support
- Assist in NICU (if applicable)

4. Medical Procedures

- Perform routine procedures such as:
- IV line insertion
- Catheterization
- Suturing and wound care
- Sample collection

5. Documentation

- Maintain accurate patient records and case sheets




- Prepare discharge summaries and daily progress notes
- Ensure proper medico-legal documentation

6. Coordination

- Work closely with consultants, nursing staff, and paramedics
- Refer patients to specialists when required
- Ensure proper handover during duty shifts

7. Emergency Handling

- Attend all emergency cases promptly
- Provide first-line treatment and stabilize patients
- Assist in CPR and resuscitation procedures

Eligibility Criteria:

- BAMS// BHMS degree from a recognized institution
- Valid Medical Council Registration
- Internship completed
- Experience in ICU / Emergency / OBGY / Pediatrics preferred

Skills Required:

- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making ability
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of ICU equipment and emergency protocols

Working Conditions:

- Rotational shifts (including night duties)
- On-call responsibilities
- Exposure to ICU, emergency, and ward settings

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
