Group Leader - Application Testing
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Identifying rules and data required for testing various portals
- Drafting and documenting test cases and test results for testing
- Perform manual testing of suite of web applications developed by client in different environments
- Track & resolve reported defects using Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Preparing test report
- Collaborated with the development and testing teams in an offshore – onsite model
- Working on testing mobile application on android and iPhone devices.
- Perform Analysis of the inquiries/queries raised by clients and document them using our BRD/SRD templates and determine their relevance and impact as per our system
- Clarified and prioritized requirements by conducting brainstorming sessions with the stakeholders and SMEs
- Preparation of Test Cases, Test Reports, Use Cases, BRD, and various workflow diagrams
- Create wire frames for different dashboard and screens using Balsamiq mock-up tool for different web functionalities to communicate visual data flow to the end user
- Understanding service objectives and capturing business requirements through active listening & questioning techniques
- Performing sanity/smoke testing of implemented code
- Drafting and documenting Test cases and Test results for testing
- Resolving and /or escalating complex matters to the Project Manager in a timely manner
- Point of Contact for the Development team and business team
- Collaborated with the development and testing teams and finalized work estimates for the project
- To be considered for this position, applicants need to meet the following qualification criteria:
- - JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role for 2-3 years
- Experience in project management and QA methodology
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g.
qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Robust organizational skills
- Engineering, BSc/BA in Computer Science, or a related field
