Assistant Production Manager – Seafood Export Processing

Reporting to the Production Manager, this role supports day-to-day processing floor operations, ensuring products move efficiently and compliantly from raw material receiving through grading, processing, freezing, packing, and dispatch.

Key responsibilities

- Assist in developing and executing daily/weekly production schedules to meet order and export deadlines.

- Manage day-to-day raw material processing activities including receiving, grading, peeling, deveining, cooking, freezing, packing, and dispatch.

- Supervise, train, and evaluate production staff performance; assign roles based on competence and workload.

- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and ISO22000 or SFA food safety standards.





- Coordinate with the Production Manager and Maintain inventory of raw materials and finished goods

- Oversee proper labelling, traceability documentation, and record-keeping required for audits and export certification.

- Monitor equipment functionality, Productivity and coordinate timely maintenance to prevent production downtime.

- Ensure sanitary, secure working conditions and enforce safety regulations across the plant.

- Prepare and present daily production reports to the Production Manager, flagging issues or deviations promptly.

- Coordinate with QA, sales, and logistics teams regarding order fulfillment and dispatch timelines.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
