Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Indian CDP Chef to manage a section of the Indian kitchen. The candidate should be skilled in preparing authentic North Indian, South Indian, Tandoor, and Curry dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook Indian dishes as per standard recipes.
- Manage the assigned kitchen section efficiently.
- Ensure consistency in food taste, quality, and presentation.
- Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Monitor food portions and minimize wastage.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per FSSAI standards.
- Supervise and guide Commis chefs.
- Coordinate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef for daily operations.
- Ensure timely preparation during buffet, à la carte, and banquet service.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.




- Follow all food safety and HACCP procedures.

Requirements

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a CDP in an Indian kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, gravies, curries, breads, and regional dishes.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of food costing and inventory management is an advantage.

Qualification

- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
- Relevant culinary certifications are an added advantage.
