Spectrum Solar is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Engineer – Solar to oversee the technical execution of residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate project activities while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct site surveys and technical feasibility assessments for solar installations.
- Design and review solar PV system layouts and technical specifications.
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and project execution.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams and junior engineers.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and company quality procedures.
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, installation records, and completion reports.
- Monitor project progress and maintain regular communication with the project management team.
- Support post-installation inspections, service activities, and customer technical queries.




- Travel within the assigned region whenever required for project execution and site inspections.

Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in solar project execution, electrical installations, or renewable energy projects.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, electrical panels, and commissioning procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
