- M.Sc. in Electronics or Diploma in Industrial Electronics with significant relevant experience.

Work Experience:

- 3-10 years of experience as a Hardware Design Engineer.

Core Technical Skills:

- Microcontrollers: Proficient in designing with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit MCUs (Experience with STM32, PIC, Microchip, Renesas, or Nuvoton families is preferred).

- Circuit Design: Strong grasp of Analog, Digital, and Mixed-Signal circuit design (Op-amps, ADCs, DACs, Signal Conditioning for sensors like Thermocouples/RTDs).

- PCB Design: Hands-on experience with EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad, or Orcad) for Schematic Capture and Multi-layer PCB Layout.

- Industrial Protocols: Knowledge of hardware interfaces for Modbus RS-485, SPI, I2C, UART, and TCP/IP (Ethernet/Wi-Fi).

- Power Supply Design: Experience designing linear and SMPS power supplies, and battery management circuits.

- Compliance: Understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for EMC/EMI (noise immunity in industrial environments).

Soft Skills:

- Ability to troubleshoot hardware using Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and Multimeters.

- Strong documentation skills for creating Bill of Materials (BOM)

and fabrication files.

- Effective communication to collaborate with firmware engineers and production teams.

- Dahisar East (Prefer candidate from Mumbai Western Suburb).

Job Description:

- Design & Development: Conceptualize and design hardware architecture for recent temperature controllers, data loggers, and thyristor power cards.

- Schematic & Layout: Create error-free schematics and PCB layouts, ensuring signal integrity and thermal management for high-current applications.

- Component Selection: Select cost-effective and available electronic components (active/passive) while managing the BOM to prevent obsolescence issues.

- Prototyping & Testing: Assemble and debug prototypes. Conduct rigorous testing for linearity, accuracy, and temperature drift.

- Industrial Hardening: Perform pre-compliance testing for surge protection, electrostatic discharge (ESD), and electrical noise filtering suitable for heavy industrial factory floors.

- Production Support: Generate Gerber files, pick-and-place files, and test procedures for the manufacturing team. Assist in resolving field failures or RMA analysis.

- Legacy Maintenance: Upgrade existing analog/digital designs to modern MCU-based architectures to improve performance and reduce cost.
