- To explain the full procedure to the patient before initiating the process.

- To ensure proper documentation is in place and due consents have been documented.

- To prepare patients for Dialysis.

- To check starting dialysis charts and previous dialysis sheets thoroughly for special instructions, if any.

- To maintain the Dialysis Machine and ensure routine preventive maintenance checks are conducted.

- To ensure constantly that updated record is documented in the Dialys is Register.

- To attend emergency dialysis procedures as and when.

- To maintain proper inventory in the Crash Cart provided in the department to meet and emergency.

To replenish used stock and items as and when.

- To respond quickly to emergency situations and patient calls.

- To make sure temperature and the conductivity of water is in accordance with the set protocols.

- To sanitize the surrounding area and disinfect the machine before starting al dialysisprocedures.

- To ensure all Infection Control Practices are met as per defined standards.
