About the Role

NuevoPixels Creative Media Institute is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and highly organized Student Counsellor to serve as the first point of contact for prospective students and parents. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships, possesses excellent communication skills, and is passionate about helping students make informed career decisions.

As a Student Counsellor, you will guide students from their initial enquiry through the admission process while ensuring they receive the support, guidance, and encouragement needed throughout their learning journey. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment, fostering student engagement, and contributing to the growth of the institute.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

- 3–4 years of experience in student counselling, admissions, customer relationship management, or educational institutions.
- Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English.
- A pleasant, confident, and professional personality with exceptional interpersonal and listening skills.
- A genuine passion for student welfare, mentoring, and career guidance.
- Robust organizational, follow-up, and multitasking abilities.




- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, email, and CRM software.
- Knowledge of the Animation, VFX, Gaming, Graphic Design, or Creative Media industry will be an added advantage.
- The ability to remain calm, patient, and solution-oriented while interacting with students and parents.

Key Responsibilities

- Guide prospective students and parents on courses, career opportunities, fee structures, and admissions.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents by providing personalized guidance and support.
- Handle enquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, email, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Follow up on enquiries and nurture them into successful admissions.
- Manage student admissions, documentation, and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Monitor student progress, attendance, and well-being, addressing concerns proactively.
- Support student engagement activities, workshops, seminars, and institute events.
- Maintain accurate counselling records and contribute to achieving admission goals.
- Uphold a warm, welcoming, and student-centric experience for every visitor to the institute.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
