CRY works to ensure happier childhoods for India’s children.

Your Role:
As Assistant Manager / Manager – Programme, you will play a key role in strengthening CRY’s child rights initiatives across states in the Eastern Region and in the North East. You will support both direct programme implementation and partner-led interventions, providing leadership to field teams, strengthening programme quality, monitoring outcomes, and ensuring effective utilization of resources.

The role involves programme management, grant-making, financial oversight, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, data analysis, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with communities, government departments, civil society organizations, donors, consultants, interns, volunteers, and other stakeholders to create meaningful and sustainable impact for children.

You:




You must be a Postgraduate in Social Work, Sociology, Anthropology, Rural Development, Development Studies, Law, Humanities, Liberal Arts or a related discipline from a reputed institution, with 5–7 years of relevant experience in the development sector.

You should have experience in programme implementation and/or NGO partnership management, along with exposure to programme planning, monitoring, evaluation, grant management, financial analysis, and capacity building. Familiarity with programme monitoring frameworks, result-based programming, and outcome measurement will be an advantage.

Robust analytical, documentation, report writing, and communication skills are essential. You should be comfortable working with diverse stakeholders, including government departments, community institutions, donors, civil society networks, consultants, interns, and volunteers.

Experience of implementing programmes or managing NGO partnerships in the Eastern and North-Eastern states of India will be a distinct advantage. Knowledge of Hindi and English is essential, while familiarity with regional languages will be an added benefit.

You should be passionate about children’s rights, willing to travel extensively, and capable of driving change through collaboration, innovation, and strong field engagement.
