MISSION

This roleisresponsible for analysis of samples, preparation of reagents, maintaining the chemistraw data book, stock position of Acids, chemical, glassware etc. Maintainaccurate impartial and factualreporting as per QMS. Responsible for proper handling and maintenance of Instruments and Equipments. Alsoresponsible for QHSE to beimplemented and followed in laboratory.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Prepare SOP for testing procedures

· Identify and verify that the description of goods conforms to the specified requirements

· Check that the goods are not prohibited, restrictive or banned in accordance with SOP and FIM instructions

· Prepare MIS reports for management

· Standardization of solutions and also preparation of solutions of different normalities

· Prepare Lab reports, Quality reports, Worksheets, Registers and laboratory charts

· Communicate within office, clients, on testing related matters

· Ensure proper storage of samples, chemicals & records as per QMS.

· Handle testing equipments, ensure maintenance and calibration as per system.

· Percentage of testing errors

· Percentage of verifying errors

· No. of testing undertaken

· No. of different items for which testing was undertaken

· Savings (In terms of Cost & responsive time)

· Results of training tests and annual technical assessments

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

· Educational Qualification: B.Sc in Chemistri ( inorganic division) or any other branch of Science as per business requirements.

· Experience (Entry Level): Fresher with excellent academics records.

· Experience (Autonomous Level): 1-2 years working experience in the capacity of Chemist.

· Specific experience – Candidate having specific training/experience of any particular product / testing (like testing of coal, iron ore, manganese e.t.c.) will be considered
