About Nick of Time

Nick of Time is a soft serve ice cream brand built around celebrating and supporting animals. We operate out of a handcrafted carousel, both at a fixed location and at events across the city. We're a young, fast-moving team and looking for someone who can bring structure and ownership to how we run day-to-day.

What you'll do

Inventory & Stock

- Manage day-to-day inventory across premix, cones, toppings, and packaging

- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile against usage

- Track cost and wastage, and flag where losses are happening

- Manage cold chain and storage for temperature-sensitive items like premix and dairy-based products

Ordering & Vendors

- Place and track orders with suppliers to avoid stockouts or overstocking

- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure timely deliveries

- Maintain a reliable list of backup vendors for critical supplies

Events & Operations

- Plan and manage logistics for events, from setup to teardown

- Coordinate staffing, equipment, and stock for each event

- Ensure the soft serve machine and equipment are maintained and serviced on schedule, minimising downtime

Quality & Compliance

- Maintain consistency in product quality, portioning,



and flavour add-ons across locations and events

- Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are met at all times (FSSAI compliance)

- Track and renew necessary licenses and permits, including for events

Team & Data

- Manage day-to-day staffing, shift planning, and coverage across the fixed spot and events

- Collect and organise operational data (sales, stock, attendance, event feedback) for review

- Dispatch orders and track fulfilment end to end

What we're looking for

- Prior experience in F&B;, QSR, or retail operations

- Comfortable managing people, vendors, and moving parts at the same time

- Detail-oriented, especially around inventory, stock, and compliance

- Someone who can work independently and take ownership without needing everything spelled out

- Bonus: experience with events or pop-up operations
