Job Summary:
The Research Assistant will support agricultural research and farm management activities to ensure successful crop development activities and field research operations.
- Manage day-to-day farm operations including sowing, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting.
- Assist in crop management, pest and disease monitoring, and implementation of agronomic practices.
- Conduct research activities related to seed development and crop improvement.
- Monitor experimental plots and ensure compliance with research protocols.
- Ensure strict follow-up of SOPs for usage of equipment’s in field.
- Monitoring and management of breeding farms
- Collection and recording of research related data in a systematic way.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of crop management and agronomic practices.
- Basic understanding of agricultural research and field trials.
- Data recording and reporting skills.
- Valuable analytical, observational, and communication abilities.
- Willingness to work extensively in field conditions.
