Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Legal Executive to join our Legal Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling legal documentation, conducting due diligence for land and property transactions, supporting legal compliance, verifying land records, and coordinating with internal teams and external authorities to facilitate the Company's real estate and construction projects.

The role requires strong knowledge of property laws, land title verification, deed drafting, and statutory procedures. The candidate should possess sound legal acumen, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to coordinate with advocates, government authorities, consultants, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct legal due diligence for land acquisition, development, and property transactions.
- Verify land ownership, title documents, chain of title, encumbrances, mutation records, revenue records, and other property-related documents.
- Examine and analyse title deeds, sale deeds, conveyance deeds, lease deeds, development agreements, gift deeds, powers of attorney, and other legal documents.
- Draft, review, and vet agreements, contracts, deeds, MOUs, notices, affidavits, declarations, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate with external advocates and legal consultants on legal matters and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Liaise with government departments, Registration Offices, BL&LRO; (Block Land & Land Reforms Office), Land Revenue Authorities, Municipal Authorities, and other statutory bodies for land and property-related matters.
- Assist in land acquisition, title verification, registration, mutation, conversion, and other legal processes.




- Ensure legal compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain legal records, contracts, case files, title documents, and related documentation.
- Provide legal support to the Projects, Procurement, Finance, and Management teams on contractual and property-related matters.
- Monitor changes in applicable laws and advise management on legal implications affecting the business.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
- Enrollment with the Bar Council will be an added advantage.
- LL.M. or specialization in Property Law, Corporate Law, or Real Estate Law will be preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience is mandatory in legal practice, preferably in the Real Estate & Construction industry.
- Experience in conducting legal due diligence for land acquisition and property transactions is essential.
- Robust knowledge of land title verification, title search, chain of title examination, and property documentation.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and vetting sale deeds, conveyance deeds, lease deeds, development agreements, MOUs, contracts, notices, and other legal documents.
- Knowledge of litigation matters and prior experience working with a reputed law firm will be preferred.
- Experience in dealing with BL&LRO; (Block Land & Land Reforms Office), Registration Offices, Land Revenue Authorities, Municipal Authorities, and other statutory bodies will be an added advantage.

Compensation

Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, technical expertise, and overall skill set, in accordance with the Company's compensation policy.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
