Mathematics Teacher (CBSE Curriculum)

Role Purpose:

To teach Mathematics effectively in accordance with the CBSE curriculum, fostering conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and a positive attitude towards learning Mathematics.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop annual plans, unit plans, lesson plans, and assessments as required.
- Teach mathematical concepts using activity-based and student-centered learning approaches.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Encourage critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Integrate technology and teaching aids to enhance learning outcomes.

Assessment & Evaluation

- Design and administer formative and summative assessments.
- Evaluate students' classwork, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Analyze assessment data to improve teaching strategies and student performance.

Classroom Management

- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain classroom discipline in accordance with school policies.
- Promote active participation and collaborative learning.

Student Development





- Identify and support students requiring additional academic assistance.
- Mentor students in developing confidence and independent learning habits.
- Prepare students for CBSE examinations and competitive assessments where applicable.

Parent and School Collaboration

- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and communicate student progress effectively.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary learning experiences.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events.

Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain attendance records, assessment records, and academic documentation.
- Prepare reports, question papers, worksheets, and learning resources.
- Fulfill duties assigned by the Principal, Academic Coordinator, or Head of Department.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment framework.

Experience

- Experience teaching Mathematics in CBSE schools.
- Proven ability to improve student achievement and engagement.
- Experience in preparing students for board examinations (for secondary/senior secondary levels).

Pay: ₹10,473.98 - ₹42,435.07 per month
