Responsible to manage Merchandising portfolio for the brand, Apparel. Manage assortment planning and working along with the central planning team, Understanding of competition brands in women western wear space

Qualifications & Experience

· 4-7 year of experience in retail buying/merchandising/category management with Fashion Background.

· Some who is abreast of fashion trends in the industry and has both creative analytical skills
Should be comfortable working in a fast paced working environment

· Familiarity with category management for relevant category.

· Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.

· Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.

· Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data.

· Roles & Responsibilities:

· Managing the team at the designated location.

· Planning and developing merchandising strategies

· Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and timescales.

· Supervision of sample making, price negotiation, price confirmation, order
confirmation.





· Maintaining both Sampling and Production Timelines.

· Keeping a check on the product quality and production control for timely order
execution and delivery.

· Subject matter expertise on womenswear
Support category manager in buy and sell through, inventory mgmt., sourcing, taking the right bet, in sourcing a planning

· To track and isolate trends selling on the marketplace platform

· Plan and buy for key external national brands
Drive sell through by doing margin management

· Manage OTB across the business line and manage working capital deployed for the business

· Provide input to internal private label teams to create newer brands

· Create category insight in the team to identify business opportunities

· Aid PL team in building line/selection using custom ROS based model

Pay: ₹370,518.00 - ₹521,898.00 per year
