Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of design engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.
- Oversee the entire design engineering process, from concept development to final product release, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to define project requirements and objectives.
- Conduct design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and drive continuous improvement in design processes and methodologies.
- Develop and maintain design standards, best practices, and guidelines for the team to ensure consistent and efficient design execution.
- Utilize Creo software to create and modify complex 3D models, assemblies, and drawings as needed.
- Conduct design analyses and simulations to validate product performance, optimize designs, and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and procurement teams to optimize product manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in Creo software to drive innovation and improve design capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging knowledge sharing, creativity, and professional development within the team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.




- Extensive experience in design engineering, with a focus on utilizing Creo software (Pro/ENGINEER) for complex product designs.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully managing and leading design engineering teams.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, design standards, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in conducting design analyses and simulations for structural, thermal, or fluid performance evaluation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop cutting-edge solutions to complex design challenges.
- Solid understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and practices.
- Previous experience in the industry or relevant product development projects is highly desirable.
