Position: E-commerce Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive E-commerce Accountant to manage, track, and analyze our financial transactions across multiple online marketplaces and sales channels. The ideal candidate will have experience in e-commerce accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Bookkeeping & Accounting
- Record daily sales, refunds, chargebacks, and payment settlements from marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.).
- Manage invoices, expense tracking, and vendor payments.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries.
- Reconciliation
- Reconcile marketplace reports (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Shopify, etc.) with bank statements and accounting software.
- Handle discrepancies in payments, commissions, shipping fees, and returns.
- Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure timely GST/TDS filings and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory filings.
- Financial Reporting
- Generate monthly P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
- Prepare detailed marketplace-wise profitability reports.




- Assist management in financial planning and budgeting.
- Coordination
- Work closely with operations, warehouse, and marketing teams for accurate financial records.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA/Inter CA preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting (E-commerce experience highly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.) and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Shopify, etc.
- Familiarity with payment gateways and reconciliation tools.
- Ability to automate reporting and financial analysis.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
