Position Title - Zabbix Developer / Zabbix Monitoring Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Zabbix Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide IT infrastructure monitoring solutions using Zabbix. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring servers, network devices, applications, databases, cloud resources, and security systems while ensuring high availability and optimal performance of IT services.

The ideal candidate should have valuable experience in Zabbix administration, automation, scripting, and integration with various IT systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities

Zabbix Development & Administration

- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Zabbix monitoring infrastructure.
- Develop and customize Zabbix templates, triggers, items, discovery rules, and dashboards.
- Configure agent-based and agentless monitoring for servers, network devices, applications, and databases.
- Implement low-level discovery (LLD) and auto-registration mechanisms.
- Optimize Zabbix server, proxy, and database performance.

Monitoring & Alert Management

- Configure proactive monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
- Develop escalation policies and notification workflows.
- Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity utilization.

Analyze incidents and provide root cause analysis (RCA).

Integration & Automation

- Integrate Zabbix with ITSM tools, ticketing systems, email gateways, SMS services, and collaboration platforms.
- Develop APIs and custom integrations with third-party applications.
- Automate monitoring deployment using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Create automated reports and executive dashboards.

Infrastructure Monitoring

- Monitor:
- Linux and Windows Servers
- Network Devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)
- Virtualization Platforms (VMware,



Hyper-V)
- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle)
- Web Servers and Applications
- Storage Systems and Backup Infrastructure

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain monitoring architecture documentation.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure monitoring compliance with organizational IT policies.
- Prepare periodic performance and availability reports.

Required Qualifications

Education

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.

· Relevant certifications in Zabbix, Linux, Networking, or Cloud technologies are preferred.

Experience

· 3–5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Monitoring.

· Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Zabbix administration and development.
