Job description:

Job Title: Sr OSS Mechanical Engineer
Location: Hosur
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

· Assemble and fit machine parts and mechanical structures as per design specifications

· Support mechanical fabrication, machining, machine installation, setup, commissioning, and maintenance

· Collaborate with electrical and software engineers for system integration

· Review 2D/3D drawings, CAD models, and manufacturing documents

· Support design improvements for manufacturability and assembly

· Analyze pneumatic diagrams and use indicators to check flatness and straightness

· Provide technical support during machine testing, setup, and commissioning

· Troubleshoot and debug mechanical issues during machine assembly and trial runs

· Support installation and commissioning at factory and customer sites

Requirements:

· Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering

· 4–5 years of relevant experience in machine building or manufacturing





· Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)

· Good understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, assembly)

· Hands-on experience in machine assembly, installation, and setup

· Experience in equipment commissioning and trial runs

· Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and machine layouts

· Willingness to work at factory and customer sites

· Mechanical assembly

· Pneumatics and hydraulics

· Linear guides, bearings

· Conveyor systems, automation equipment, or SPM machines

· Experience in automation or special purpose machines (SPM)

· Exposure to industrial machinery installation and customer site commissioning

· Solid problem-solving and debugging skills
