Job Description – Mathematics Teacher

Position: Mathematics Teacher
Department: Academics
Reports To: Principal / Academic Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom setting that promotes learning.
- Assess, record, and monitor students’ progress through assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, and other teaching-learning materials.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, activity-based learning, and technology integration to enhance understanding.
- Identify students requiring additional support and provide remedial teaching when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and academic performance.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student progress effectively.
- Support school events, academic activities, competitions, and co-curricular programs.
- Ensure classroom discipline and adherence to school policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and academic improvement initiatives.





Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics (B.Sc./B.A. Mathematics) with B.Ed.
- Master's Degree in Mathematics (M.Sc./M.A.) preferred.
- Relevant teaching experience in CBSE/GSEB/ICSE schools is desirable.
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.

Pay: ₹10,473.98 - ₹42,435.07 per month
