POSITION: AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Location: Chandigarh (site travel across North India)

Salary: Rs. 20,000 - Rs. 40,000 per month

Type: Full time, Permanent

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a motivated Automation Engineer to design, program, commission and maintain industrial automation systems for our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Program and configure PLCs (Siemens S7-(phone hidden)/1500, TIA Portal)

- Develop and commission HMI/SCADA systems (WinCC, iFIX, Wonderware)

- Configure VFDs and Servo systems

- Design control panels and wiring diagrams

- Conduct site surveys, FAT/SAT testing and commissioning

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting

- Prepare SOP manuals and as-built drawings

- Liaise with clients on requirements and training

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education:



ITI (Electrician/Instrumentation) or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering

Experience: 0-5 years (freshers with strong practical interest welcome)

Technical Skills:

- Siemens TIA Portal / Step 7 programming

- PLC ladder logic, function block or structured text

- SCADA/HMI software basics

- VFDs, servo drives and control panel wiring knowledge

Soft Skills:

- Willingness to travel across North India

- Good communication in Hindi and English

- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
