Core Responsibilities and Duties
- Procurement and Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts and terms to secure the best quality products.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, and optimize inventory turnover to minimize storage costs.
- Supplier Relations: Maintain strong relationships with vendors,
evaluating their performance and resolving issues related to delivery or quality.
- Cost Control: Analyze market trends to predict price fluctuations and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all purchasing complies with company policies, local regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Operational Coordination: Collaborate with departments (F&B;, housekeeping, engineering) to identify their requirements and ensure timely delivery.
