- Conduct nutritional assessments for patients.
- Develop individualized diet plans based on medical conditions and nutritional requirements.
- Counsel patients and caregivers on healthy eating habits and therapeutic diets.
- Monitor patients' nutritional progress and modify diet plans as required.
- Recommend therapeutic diets for conditions such as diabetes, renal disease, hypertension, obesity, liver disorders, neurological disorders, and rehabilitation patients.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
- Supervise meal preparation and ensure therapeutic diets are prepared accurately.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality standards in the dietary department.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on nutrition-related topics.
- Maintain accurate patient records, diet charts, and nutritional documentation.
- Monitor nutritional supplements and recommend appropriate dietary interventions.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics / Clinical Nutrition.
