We are looking for a Port & Customs Operations Specialist with solid hands-on experience at JNPT. The role involves managing end-to-end customs clearance, ensuring compliance, and coordinating closely with port and customs authorities for smooth cargo movement.
Mandatory Requirement:
- Valid G Card or H Card (Customs License) – This is strictly mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end customs clearance for import/export shipments at JNPT
- Liaise with Customs Officials, Port Authorities, Shipping Lines, and Transporters
- Filing and processing of Bill of Entry, Shipping Bills, and EDI documentation
- Ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Manage cargo examination, delivery orders, and gate-out processes
- Coordinate for timely cargo movement and clearance execution
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to internal teams/clients
- Resolve operational issues related to delays, inspections, or discrepancies
- Follow SOPs, audit requirements, and compliance standards
- Work closely with CHA, Freight Forwarding, and Project teams
