Role Overview

* Procure agricultural commodities directly from farmers, traders, and agri-input retailers.

* Build and maintain solid mandi-level and farmer networks.

* Conduct quality checks and negotiate prices.

* Track local market trends and procurement opportunities.

* Coordinate with procurement and operations teams to ensure smooth sourcing activities.

Commodity Exposure

Wheat | Paddy | Bajra | Maize | Soyabean | Mustard | Gram

Key Responsibilities

* Assess the quality of agricultural commodities at the field and mandi level.

* Ensure procurement as per company quality standards.

* Develop relationships with farmers, traders, FPOs, and local stakeholders.

* Travel extensively within the assigned region for sourcing and procurement activities.





Eligibility

* Experience: 2+ years in agri procurement, commodity trading, or agri value chains.

* Education: Any Graduate.

* Strong local network in the farmer and trader ecosystem.

* Good understanding of quality assessment parameters for Wheat, Mustard, Bajra, Soyabean, Gram, and other agricultural commodities.

* Must own a two-wheeler (bike) and be willing to travel extensively for field operations.

* Comfortable working in on-ground procurement environments.
