Safety CAE Engineer - Seating

Location: Pune
Experience: 1 to 3 Years

We are looking for a Safety CAE Engineer with experience in Seating domain and occupant safety simulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform CAE simulations for Seating safety load cases.
- Develop and validate LS-Dyna models for seating applications.
- Carry out sheet metal and plastic parts meshing using shell and solid elements.
- Create and manage welds, bolts, material and thickness assignments, and contact definitions as per LS-Dyna requirements.
- Perform model building and debugging activities in LS-Dyna.
- Conduct basic post-processing activities including stress/strain plots, energy balance, displacement and force curves.
- Work on seating safety load cases such as ISOFIX, Luggage Retention, and related regulations.
- Interpret simulation results and provide engineering recommendations.

Required Skills:

- Good understanding of Seating domain and seating load cases.
- Hands-on experience in ANSA and LS-Dyna.
- Experience in sheet metal and plastic meshing using shell and solid elements.
- Knowledge of weld, bolt, contact, material and thickness modelling.




- Experience in LS-Dyna model build and debugging activities.
- Basic post-processing knowledge including stress, strain, energies and 2D plots.
- Experience in ISOFIX and Luggage Retention load cases will be an added advantage.
