A Resident Medical Officer (RMO) provides continuous care to hospital patients. They live in office or work rotational shifts. RMOs stabilize emergencies, do daily ward rounds, and write progress notes. They act as the bridge between nurses and senior consultants. [1, 2, 3, 4]Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Examine admitted patients, check vitals, and update treatment plans under consultant guidance.
- Emergency Handling: Act as the first point of contact for acute events. Perform initial resuscitation and first-line care.
- Ward Rounds: Conduct daily rounds to monitor recovery.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of case histories and prepare discharge summaries.
- Coordination: Communicate with consultants about unusual test results and update patient families. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
Qualifications
- Degree: Minimum MBBS or equivalent from a recognized medical school.
- License: Valid registration with a local Medical Council.
- Experience: 0-3 years of clinical or hospital experience and fresher
- Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, quick decision-making under pressure, and basic life support capability. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
