Job Description – Admission Counsellor

Job Summary

The Admission Counsellor is responsible for managing the student admission process, guiding prospective parents and students, and ensuring a seamless admission experience. The role involves counselling, lead generation, follow-ups, documentation, and coordinating with various departments to achieve admission targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective parents and students regarding the school's curriculum, facilities, fee structure, and admission process.
- Handle admission enquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, emails, social media, and other communication channels.
- Conduct campus tours and provide detailed information about the school's academic and co-curricular offerings.
- Generate and nurture admission leads through various marketing and outreach activities.
- Follow up regularly with prospective parents to convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, applications, and admissions in the school's ERP/CRM system.




- Coordinate with the academic and administrative teams to facilitate the admission process.
- Organize and participate in admission events, education fairs, counselling sessions, and promotional activities.
- Prepare admission reports and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS.
- Ensure timely collection and verification of admission documents.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents to enhance the school's reputation.
- Achieve monthly and annual admission targets.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- Additional certification in Sales, Marketing, or Counselling is an advantage.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in admissions, counselling, sales, customer relationship management, or a similar role.
- Experience in the education sector will be preferred.

NOTE: The salary offered will be based on your current salary.

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
