Job Description – Radiology Consultant (USG & Doppler)

About the Role

Sahaj Hospital is looking for an experienced Radiology Consultant to perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures with a primary focus on Ultrasonography (USG) and Doppler Studies. The ideal candidate should possess strong diagnostic skills, excellent clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely reports.

Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnostic Imaging

- Perform and interpret Ultrasonography (USG) examinations
- Perform Color Doppler and Duplex Doppler studies (Mandatory)
- Evaluate imaging findings and provide accurate diagnostic reports
- Recommend additional imaging or investigations when clinically indicated

Clinical Responsibilities

- Correlate imaging findings with clinical history
- Discuss complex cases with referring physicians
- Ensure timely reporting and high-quality diagnostic services
- Maintain patient safety and confidentiality throughout imaging procedures

Quality & Compliance

- Adhere to radiation safety and quality standards
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting
- Follow NABH and hospital protocols
- Maintain equipment quality standards in coordination with the technical team

Required Qualifications





- MD/DNB in Radiodiagnosis
- Valid Medical Council Registration

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience as a Radiologist
- Experience in hospitals or diagnostic centres preferred

Mandatory Skills

- Musculoskeletal Ultrasound
- Abdominal & Pelvic Ultrasound

- Obstetric & Gynecological Ultrasound (if applicable)
- Basic knowledge of X-Ray and other imaging modalities

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in orthopedic or musculoskeletal imaging will be an added advantage
