About the Role

Saburi Ply is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive business growth in the Midnapore region. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the Building Materials industry, with proven expertise in channel sales, dealer development, and territory management. Candidates with prior experience in the Plywood industry will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Develop and expand the dealer, distributor, and retailer network.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive market expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, architects, contractors, builders, and key influencers.
- Conduct regular market visits to increase product visibility and strengthen market presence.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy receivables.
- Plan and execute dealer meets, carpenter meets, promotional campaigns, and product awareness activities.
- Coordinate with the marketing and head office teams for smooth execution of sales initiatives.
- Prepare daily, weekly,



and monthly sales reports and share market insights with management.

Eligibility Criteria

- Experience: 6–8 years in the Building Materials industry.
- Experience in the Plywood industry will be an added advantage.
- Solid knowledge of dealer and distributor management.
- Familiarity with the Midnapore and surrounding markets will be preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and sales reporting.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
