Architect (Residential / Housing Projects)

Primary Responsibilities

1. Project Management:

- Independently manage residential architectural projects, including houses, villas, and large-scale housing developments.
- Create detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and construction documents.
- Oversee project timelines, approvals, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and building regulations.
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction follows design intent, material specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate closely with clients, Structural, MEP, and landscape consultants to ensure smooth execution.
- Review and guide junior team members’ deliverables, ensuring accuracy and design quality.
- Facilitate timely decisions and approvals from clients and authorities.

2. Design and Planning:

- Lead design development and space planning for residences, from concept to execution.
- Develop functional and client-centric solutions that balance aesthetics, comfort, and efficiency.
- Coordinate integration of engineering systems (Structural, MEP, HVAC, landscape) within architectural design.
- Design residential interiors with a focus on natural light, ventilation, modern lifestyle needs, and sustainability.
- Translate conceptual designs into efficient, regulation-compliant solutions.

3. Leadership and Team Development:

- Guide and mentor teams of architects, designers to deliver technically sound and innovative residential projects.
- Encourage continuous learning and conduct internal knowledge-sharing sessions on residential design.
- Review work, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development of team members.

4. Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

- Collaborate with clients, interior designers, and contractors to define requirements and expectations.




- Maintain robust client relationships through proactive communication and transparent coordination.
- Resolve design and execution challenges effectively while aligning with stakeholder vision.

5. Quality Control and Reporting:

- Ensure all deliverables meet quality, regulatory, and timeline benchmarks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of approvals, drawings, and compliance checklists.
- Provide regular updates to leadership and clients on design progress and site conditions.

Advanced Responsibilities

A. Technical and Industry Knowledge:

- Stay current with residential design trends, sustainable materials, and smart home technologies.
- Ensure alignment with updated local codes, by-laws, and urban planning guidelines.

B. Professional Development:

- Take initiative in attending residential design conferences and certification programs.
- Support firm-wide excellence by contributing to research, process improvement, and knowledge databases.

C. Design Excellence:

- Lead innovative residential design strategies that enhance lifestyle, comfort, and long-term value.
- Enhance visual presentations and storytelling for design approvals and client engagement.
- Apply sustainable design and universal design principles in housing environments.

D. Budgeting and Estimation:

- Estimate costs related to interiors, structure, finishes, and MEP integrations.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure alignment of work with design intent and budget.
